Categorize Album Photos by Event
Using the categorization feature, you can group album photos by events such as sports day or field trip. For each category, you can quickly check photo counts and photo lists.
How to Set Categories
When categorizing by event, it is convenient to search by shooting date and set categories in bulk. Here we show how to bulk-set categories by date search.
Steps:
-
From the album list page, click the album you want to categorize.
-
Click the ︙ button in the top-right area, then click Edit Album. This switches to album edit mode.
-
Hover over a photo to check its shooting date/time. Set that date range in Start Date and End Date, then click Search. Photos taken within the specified date are shown.
-
Click Select All to select photos. Selected photos are highlighted in blue. You can click photos to toggle selection on/off.
-
Click Categorize Selected Photos in the top-right area. A category input popup appears. Enter a category and click Set. This applies the category to selected photos.
-
Categorized photos can be checked from the category list under the album name. Numbers indicate photo counts in each category. Click a category to see its photos. Click the selected category again to clear selection. Before checking other categories, clear Start Date and End Date and click Search to reset filters. (If not reset, date filtering remains active inside the category.)
-
After finishing categorization, click Done in the top-right area. To remove a category, select photos with that category, open the category popup, leave the category field empty, and click Set.
