Select Photos with Advanced AI

You can use advanced AI to automatically select the best photos for your album. This feature helps you choose photos for your album more efficiently.

This is a paid optional feature. The cost depends on the number of uploaded photos. Please upload all your photos before using this feature. If you upload additional photos after payment, this feature becomes unavailable. To use it again, you will need to pay for the full number of photos in the collection.

Payment​

  1. Click an album from the album list page.
  2. Click the Auto Add Photos button at the top right of the page, then check Use advanced AI to select photos on the auto add photos page.
  3. The cost is displayed based on the number of photos saved in your collection. Click Checkout to proceed to the payment page, then enter your payment information to complete the purchase.

Once payment is complete, photo analysis begins. You will receive an email notification when the analysis is finished. Analysis may take up to one day. After analysis is complete, you can use the advanced AI photo auto-selection.

Payment is per collection. If you want to use this feature for a different collection, a separate payment is required based on the number of photos in that collection.

Auto-Selecting Photos​

Once analysis is complete, you can configure AI Photo Selection Mode on the auto add photos page. There are two selection modes:

  • Prioritize best photos
    • Chooses each person's highest AI-rated shots, skipping any that look too much like that person's earlier picks
  • Prioritize varied scenes
    • Chooses shots that bring in new scenes, skipping any that look too much like what has already been picked, including other people's photos

So that near-identical photos such as burst shots do not fill up the album, duplicate photos are excluded from the auto-selection candidates. Photos that duplicate ones already added to the album are excluded as well. If only duplicates remain as candidates, photo selection for that person stops there. Albumie does not pad the album with near-identical photos, so the album may end up with fewer photos than the number you specified.
